A V8 Engine
The engine is the heart of every car. It converts fuel into power, pushing the car forward. Most car engines are internal combustion engines, which burn petrol or diesel inside cylinders to create explosions that move pistons. The more cylinders an engine has, the more powerful it usually is. Modern cars also use electric motors, which are quieter, cleaner, and incredibly fast to respond.
POWER OUTPUT COMPARISON (BHP)
Car racing is one of the most thrilling sports in the world. From muddy forest tracks to perfectly smooth circuits, there are many different types of racing — each requiring different skills, cars, and strategies.
Hi! I'm Leo, age 9. I live in Oakland with my dad, my brother Arno, and our dog Orso. I made this website as a school project because I love cars — especially V8 muscle cars like the Dodge Charger and Ford Mustang, the Audi Quattro, and the Nissan GT-R. When I'm not researching cars, you'll find me on the soccer pitch, riding my Onewheel, playing Wonderwall on guitar, reading the Hardy Boys, eating pepperoni pizza, or dreaming about Ireland. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed making it! 🏎️
